It's been a while since we've posted anything because I've been working on creating a blog for
Sharon to post information about Ethan and Sydney, or children. It contains posts dating
back to Ethan's birth. The blog will allow for Sharon to put information and pictures more

We had a little excitement after our families had left. There was a fire up in the woods
behind our house that started to spread down the hill towards our house. We were able
to get it put out without too much damage (with a little help from the fire department).

We had several members from both of our families in town for Sharon's baby shower.

shower over at her friend's house. She had a great time and we will probably not need too
much more for our baby when he arrives.

Sharon has completed her Masters in Education from Queens University here in
Charlotte. Her parents were in town for her graduation. She is very glad to
have it finished, especially now that she is pregnant.

We went to Chattanooga to see Jenny run in a cross country meet. We met Scott, Rebecca and Andrew there the night before the race to got
to Rock City before the meet.

I finally got around to organizing my garage the way I want it, although I still have a few projects
left to complete.

up at the New River Gorge in WV. Unfortunately, there had been too much rain,
so the section of the river we were supposed to go down was not open (it was too dangerouse with the water levels 14 feet above normals).

The Compton's came to visit us in Charlotte for the weekend. We had lots of fun playing with our niece Chloe and got to enjoy some good weather.

After three days of great skiing, we went to Yellowstone with some of our friends. Most of the snow was gone, but the animals were out in force. We got to see the hot springs and there were buffalo everywhere.

spent several days up in Big Sky, MT with friends. The weather
was great - we had a day of sunny spring skiing and two days of snow. Big Sky is an enormous mountain and we had a great time exploring the mountain.

Charlotte got hit with a surprise "blizzard" this week; we got about 14 inches
here at our house. As usual, we were unable to get up the big hill to leave the
neighborhood, so we got to have some fun in it.

had pretty good winter weather here in Charlotte and decided to try
a day trip to go skiing. Sharon and I went with
our friend Salil to WinterPlace in West Virgina for a great day of skiing. We had snow the whole time, which helped with the ski conditions, since apparently it was raining the night before. Click
