This past weekend daddy took 
me and Syd to Atlanta to see Jenny, Mark, and Maddie (mommy had to stay home because she was planning a baby shower). We couldn’t believe how big Maddie had gotten! We really enjoyed playing with her On Sunday we went to the Children’s Museum. There was lots of stuff to do and we all had fun! We had to head home the next day and even though it was a short visit, it was great getting to see them.

While me and Ethan were at the 
beach with uncle Scott, mommy and daddy headed to the mountains for their friends wedding. They said it was beautiful. The weather was perfect and they had a great, relaxing time.

This past weekend mommy and 
daddy were at a wedding, so uncle Scott, Becca, and Andrew flew out here to keep me and Syd. It was a big surprise when we woke up because Scott said he was taking us all to the beach for the weekend! So we packed up in the car on Friday and headed to Myrtle Beach. It was a blast. The place we stayed had a pool with a lazy river that we got to float down on tubes! We went to the boardwalk and rode the giant ferris wheel. We ran around in a house of mirrors, played mini golf, ate lots of junk food, and played on the beach. I think Scott was exhausted but us kids had an awesome time!

Today was my first soccer 
game. I was excited, but a little nervous because this is the first time I’ve ever played soccer. I think I did a pretty good job though and even scored a couple of goals. I’ve got lots to learn, but I think I’m really going to enjoy the season.

Today was my first baseball 
game of the season! I got to play third base this time. I made some good stops and good throws to first. I also made some great hits to the outfield – probably because Daddy was pitching. It was exciting, even though we did end up losing. We have some work to do, but I think my team is going to be great!

Today was a very exciting day 
because it was my first day of kindergarten!! I couldn’t wait to get up and get ready to go. I had already seen my classroom and met my teacher so I knew just where to go. Ethan was excited, too, because he has the same teacher he had in kindergarten and he loves her! The day was great and I even rode the bus home! I’m looking forward to a fun year.

This past week we have been at 
the beach with some of my baseball friends. We rented a big house with a pool and lots of room to play. We had a blast going to the beach and playing in the waves and sand. We even got to go bowling and play mini golf while we were there. The grown ups had a good time, too. They even got to have a couple of nights out without us kids. It was a great trip!

After our trip to Memphis, 
grandma and grandpa took us to Atlanta to meet mommy and daddy. We got to spend the night at the hotel and swim in their awesome rooftop pool. The next day we headed to the Atlanta Aquarium. It was a long wait to get in, but we had a great time once we were inside. We saw lots of neat fish and animals. We even got to touch some! We were all exhausted by the end of the day and still had to drive home! But we had a good time in Memphis and Atlanta.

For the past couple of weeks, 
me and Syd have been in Memphis visiting our grandmas and grandpas. Mommy spent the first week there with us then headed home to do some projects around the house. While she was here we had fun going fishing, playing in the backyard, going to this awesome park and even getting to see Chloe for a day. We did lots of other stuff after she left, too, like Chuck E. Cheese, the pool, the movies, and lots of playing with grandma and grandpa. At the end of trip grandma and grandpa C. drove us to Atlanta to meet mommy and daddy and spend the night at a hotel. What a fun Fourth of July it 
was! We headed to our friend’s Trevor and Savannah’s house to celebrate with all my pals. We had a ton of fun jumping on the trampoline, spitting watermelon seeds, having a whip cream pie eating contest and watching fireworks. It was such a great time!!

This past weekend me and daddy 
went on our annual camping trip. We had a great time fishing, swimming, gliding down the zipline, and bouncing on the water trampoline. Of course we also got to eat yummy camp food like hot dogs and smores. I love this trip with daddy and can’t wait to go back next year!

Today is my birthday and I’m 
seven!! It started with my traditional birthday doughnut breakfast complete with 7 candles on my doughnut. Pretty soon there’s not going to be enough room for all those candles… I guess that’s when I’ll get to have 2 doughnuts. Later that day we headed to Red Robin for my traditional birthday lunch. Another dessert completed the meal. Afterwards we headed to the park for some fun. Then back home for presents! The day was completed with a cook out with my favorite food, hot dogs, and smores by the campfire. Can’t think of a better way to spend my birthday!

Since daddy was out of town 
these past few days, Mommy decided she’d take us to the beach. We went to a new beach called St. Pawley’s Island. It was great. The beach wasn’t crowded, the pool was perfect, and the weather was great! Me and Ethan had an awesome time digging in the sand, finding fish and shells, and playing in the pool. What a relaxing time!

Today was a fun day. First we 
headed to the park for some playtime. I showed mommy and daddy how strong I am by doing the monkey bars and Ethan and daddy played some ball. It was pretty hot though, so we couldn’t stay too long. Later that evening we headed to watch the airplanes take off. It was so cool. Me and Ethan really enjoyed watching them come down the runway and then lift off and fly into the sky. Such a beautiful night, too!

Can you believe another year 
of school has gone by! To celebrate the start of summer Mommy took me and Syd to get ice cream and to the park. Then later we got to play in the sprinklers. What a great way to kick of the summer! I’ll miss first grade and all my friends, but I’m excited about the summer and the start of 2nd grade in a few months!
